And boy has it been a good-un... lots of names added to the bumper... lots of fun with my friends from out of town. Life is good... Busted up foot sucks. but I'll live.

Well, yesterday was my 23rd Birthday, and I spent it doing two things I love doing....autograph seeking, and THE STONES! In the morning I went to the Memory Lane Museum in Mooresville, North Carolina, for the 'Legends Helping Legends' benifit for 'Suitcase' Jake Elder.  Oh the names that were there...Richard Petty, Donnie and Bobby Allison, Dave Marcis, Jerry Nadeau, David, Ken, and Adam Ragan, 'Tiger' Tom Pistone, Lou LaRosa, Tim Brewer, Jeff Hammond, Waddell Wilson, Dale Inman, and even 'The King' Richard Petty, just to name a few.  Yep, I mingled, rubbed elbows, got autographs, and shook hands with some the greatest this sport has ever kn

Menard to leave DEI UPDATE 2: Paul Menard will leave Dale Earnhardt Inc. at the end of the season to drive for Yates Racing, The Associated Press has learned. Menard is expected to announce Tuesday that both he and his sponsorship will move to Yates, a person familiar with Menard's decision told The AP. The person requested anonymity because Menard had yet to make his announcement. DEI officials were not immediately available to comment Monday night.
